I had a family member (or friend) living with me last year. They didn't pay any rent, they just helped me around the house. Do I have to include their income as members of the household?
Even though they do not pay rent, they are considered a part of the household and their income must be included in the application.
The only exception would be if you were incapacitated, and they were in the home as a care giver for your medical benefit.
