Paying by Credit Card - Convenience Fee
Why must I pay a convienience fee when I charge my tax payment on a credit card?
Convenience Fee: If you pay by credit card a 2.5% convenience fee is charged by a financial intermediary, Official Payments Corp.
No portion of the convenience fee is paid to the County or to any other Government entity.
If you do not wish to incur the convenience fee, please choose the Checking payment method.
Using the credit card option will result in a direct charge to your charge account. The amount charged for the convenience fee is 2.50% of the payment amount with a minimum fee of $1.
