Paying by E-check
Property taxes can be paid online by direct charge to your checking account (E-Check).
- To pay online you must use the unique PIN number appearing on the face of the Tax Notice.
- Using the online payment option will result in a direct charge to your checking account on the second business day after your authorization to charge your account.
- Taxpayers paying online receive immediate acknowledgment of the payment(s) made.
- The online payment must be initiated and finalized before midnight (MST), November 30, to avoid penalties.
- If your electronic payment is rejected due to insufficient funds or incorrect account information, it will be your responsibility to make other payment arrangements. You will be subject to the late penalty if payment fails to reach us by the due date.
Note: Acknowledgment confirms receipt of your information and intent to pay property taxes. Please contact your financial institution to verify that funds have been transferred. Be sure to keep a copy of the acknowledgment for your records.
To pay by e-check visit online payment website and provide the necessary information authorizing us to debit your account. There is no charge by Salt Lake County to use this payment method.
To ensure a secure transmission of your account information, Salt Lake County provides 128-bit SSL encryption key in association with Verisign. As a result Salt Lake County requires that your browser is configured for 128-bit encryption.
