Paying in Person at the SLCo Treasurer's Office
Property Taxes may be paid only by cash, check, draft or Money Order in the Treasurer’s Office.
The Treasurer’s Office is open between 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday excluding state and national holidays. Payment must be received by 5:00 pm November 30, 2009 to avoid penalties.
Please make checks payable to Salt Lake County Treasurer. Write your parcel number on the check and bring the remittance advice from your Tax Notice to expedite payment. If you pay at the Treasurer's Office, you should expect delays.
In order to comply with terms of the credit card merchant agreements, the SLCo Treasurer cannot accept credit card charges over the counter. All credit card charges must be processed only through Official Payments Corp. either online or by telephone using the interactive voice response (IVR) system available by dialing 1-800-272-9829. (select Option 3 and use jurisdiction code 5407)
